If you enjoy paper piecing this course has many options for you.
Our theme this term is Christmas in July. We will be presenting a festive themed project on each week, and it is up to you how many of these you decide to make. If you are a complete beginner, you can learn the foundation piecing technique by sewing some simpler blocks to build up your confidence. If you have some paper piecing experience you will be able to pick and choose your Christmas projects from what’s on offer, or decide to do your own thing.
Paper piecing is a technique that uses paper patterns to stitch your design, this helps accuracy and enables you to create traditional or pictorial designs. We will stitching festive themed panels that can be made into a number of different items so you can be flexible with your finished projects.
You will need your own electric sewing machine and provide your own materials. Experienced stitchers may work on their own project and receive help and guidance as needed.
