These stories were meant to be heard.
Over the weekend of the 13th to the 15th March 2015, Aberystwyth Arts Centre will host an unedited bi-lingual day-long illustrated telling of the four branches of Y Mabinogi. The stories will be told by Welsh/Welsh based storytellers Cath Little, Christine Cooper, Dafydd Davies Hughes, Fiona Collins, Guto Dafis and Michael Harvey. There will be a specially commissioned exhibition of visual art featuring Ceredigion based illustrators, and Maria Hayes will be drawing live and projecting her drawings during the telling, so creating a second exhibition. The project will include a talk by Sioned Davies, discussions, papers, informal tales, a twmpath, cake from the cafe, and will be curated by Peter Stevenson.
