The Bookshop invites you to a very special evening of poetry as we welcome Rosalind Hudis to discuss her latest work, Tilt.
Pared down and precise imagery, beautifully observed moments and flashes of lyrical writing that is startling and original, mark this accomplished debut. Form and content work together and there is great use of sound patterning in these admirably controlled pieces that know what not to say, leaving the reader space to enter the moment.
Rosalind’s poems have appeared in a variety of print and online journals and she has won several awards, including the Wilfred Owen Bursary, and prizes in The National Poetry Competition, the Poetry London Competition, the Magma Poetry Competition and the Aesthetica Creative Writing competition.
Free entry and refreshments
All welcome!
