This three-day creative writing course offers exactly what it says on the tin: encouragement and support, for writers at various levels. Whether you’re stuck writing a novel; trying to begin a book you’ve held off writing for years; or are not stuck at all, but just looking for a bit of advice, this relaxed, practical course may be for you. Led by the Arts Centre’s Writer-in-Residence Damian Gorman, the aim of A Writing Boost is to help you raise your confidence in your own writing, and hopefully raise your voice.
Damian Gorman is a poet and playwright, originally from Northern Ireland, who has been living in Wales for six years. He has been encouraging other people’s writing for over thirty years in places as diverse as Rathlin Island, Malta and Armenia. He has recently been a guest lecturer for Oxford and Stanford universities, and he was awarded an MBE for services to the arts.
The early bird price is available up until 6pm on the 31st July.
