For twenty years the painter Clive Hicks-Jenkins has been building maquettes as a part of his studio practice. This Summer, in his exhibition Dark Movements, the artworks and the maquettes that are the tools for making them, will be on display in Gallery 1. In this workshop Clive will talk about his process of making and using maquettes, and under his guidance, participants will produce maquettes to their own designs.
