Astron 6 are a new force in the film world, their tremendously entertaining film Father's Day, which saw them team up with Abertoir favourite Lloyd Kaufman, was a grin-inducing blend of nostalgic 80s video weirdness and pure Troma nonsense. Dedicated to the pleasures of the good ol' VHS days, Astron 6's other film Manborg is exactly that. Killed while battling the forces of hell, a supersoldier is brought back from the dead in order to fight an army of demons. If you could recall what you wanted to watch as a kid growing up in the 80s, you'd probably want to see kung-fu killing, stop-motion monster battles, hoverbikes, robots, demons and not care in the slightest if it all looks, well, a little bit shit. So, in loving tribute to days when no-one gave a damn and just wanted a fun movie, we present half man, half cyborg...Manborg!
Episode 1: I DANCED FOR HITLER After a swarm of Nazi zeppelins abduct the Eiffel Tower, the Danger 5 team race to Paris to stop Hitler’s plans to plunder the world’s national monuments in order to make the ultimate weapon…
