Wales’ International Horror Festival comes hurtling back for another six days of special guests, brand new films, classic and cult screenings, talks, Q&As, live music and theatre, silent film with live accompaniment and even our regular pub quiz!
With this year being the centennial year of Peter Cushing, we’ll be celebrating his life with films, presentations and discussions about the ‘gentleman of horror’. We’ll also be welcoming back Paul Shallcross to play commissioned scores to a selection of short silent horrors from the beginning of the 20th century. We’ve got our own specially curated exhibition of movie posters celebrating the golden age of British horror. We’ll be welcoming ‘The Ghost Hunter’, a one-man show about a ghost tour guide whose stories are about to catch up with him, and for our live music we’ll be bringing back the fabulous Zombina and The Laze in their new joint collaboration: White Blacula.
And the guests? We’ll be hosting plenty of Q&As throughout the event but can exclusively reveal two of our guests of honour: FABIO FRIZZI (acclaimed Italian film music composer) and RICHARD JOHNSON, who will be kicking off our festival with a very special 50th anniversary screening of The Haunting.
