Good architecture has a positive impact on people’s experience, creating comfortable spaces which are easy to use and contribute towards well-being. The photographs of James Morris capture new buildings or renovations that were recognised by architectural juries in Wales in 2016. From Cardigan Castle’s sleek new visitor centre to the imposing National Sailing Academy in Pwllheli, the projects have breathed new life into towns and villages across Wales. This is an extended version of the original exhibition commissioned for the 2016 Eisteddfod, by the Design Commission for Wales, the Eisteddfod and the Royal Society of Architects in Wales working in partnership. This exhibition also continues in the Great Hall Foyer.
