The music of Bruce Springsteen is the inspiration for this irresistible coming-of-age story. It’s Britain in the 1980s: young music fanatic Javed dreams of escaping his rundown hometown and strict rules of his traditional Pakistani household. Yet when he discovers the illustrious back catalogue of Bruce Springsteen, his world is set alight by the songs of the working-class poet, whose lyrics feel all too familiar. This is a parent and baby screening. There are some changes to the usual cinema experience to accomodate parents who bring their babies:- low level lighting- reduced volume- it's okay to make a noise
