Artists are welcome to send details of their work to Aberystwyth Arts Centre, to keep us informed of their current shows or projects; or to request that work be considered for exhibition.
The Arts Centre has the following temporary exhibition Galleries:
Gallery 1 is fully invigilated, and is a space of approximately 250 square metres. The programme is primarily concentrated on contemporary works.
Gallery 2 is not invigilated full time but is checked by staff throughout the day. The size is c. 125 square metres.
The Eye is programmed with artists’ video. The Eye has a 52" sized screen, and is sited in the main Arts Centre foyer.
The Café exhibits works from Arts Centre classes or works extending an exhibition in Galleries 1 or 2.
For specific projects works can also be sited elsewhere by agreement. Cross disciplinary work is encouraged.

If you would like your work to be considered for exhibition, we request that you send the following to the address at the base of the page:
- Visual documentation (CDs, DVDs, photographs etc.) of your work, with information stating date, materials, dimensions etc as appropriate.
- A current CV
- A statement and any other supporting text outlining the project/ work with some reference to its relevance to the Arts Centre’s programme and the public.
- Please indicate for which gallery programme you are applying.
Aberystwyth Arts Centre currently has a programme of artists’ residencies, for artists from the UK and internationally, based in the Creative Units. Details of any open calls are on the Arts Centre’s website. Details of past Artists’ residencies can be found on the Arts Centre website.
