Symposium on myth, theatre and visual representation

In tandem with Kneehigh's show 'Hansel & Gretel', Lucy Gough, Alison Forsyth, Carl Lavery and Mike Pearson of the Department of Theatre, Film & Television Studies at Aberystwyth University, together with illustrator Peter Stevenson will explore the different functions of myth in theatre, performance and visual practices today. The contributors will provide a necessary artistic and intellectual context for the use of myths and stories in contemporary theatre and design.
