Piece Now

Neil Callaghan & Simone Kenyon will present their new performance Piece Now on the 4th February at Aberystwyth Arts Centre. The artists have been one of the first performance companies to be resident in Aberystwyth Arts Centre, and this will be the first time they present their new work to the public.

Beginning with Alan Clarke's 1989 film 'Elephant' as a central reference point, Piece Now is a dance performance that explores death and the coldness of killing. Through tense, pedestrian choreography a couple reconstruct and question ideas of what a body is through becoming multiple bodies and returning to moments of fatal actions.
