Bernadette O'Grady
Originally from Northern Ireland, Bernadette began writing and performing songs whilst living in New York. Since then she has gained an excellent reputation on the acoustic scene for her exceptionally well-crafted lyrics, unique finger-picking guitar style, and beautiful, distinctive vocals. Bernadette has performed live on BBC Radio Wales and at venues/festivals across the UK including Tenby Folk Festival, Oxjam Brecon, and London’s award-winning, ‘On Stage @ The Halo’. One of Bernadette’s songs was recently featured in the new Irish film, JAM, which was shown on UTV.
Yn hannu’n wreiddiol o Ogledd Iwerddon, dechreuodd Bernadette ysgrifennu a pherfformio caneuon tra’n byw yn Efrog Newydd. Ers hynny mae wedi ennill enw da am ei chaneuon crefftus, am chwarae’r gitâr ac am ei llais hyfryd nodweddiadol. Mae hi wedi perfformio’n helaeth mewn canolfannau a gwyliau ledled y DU.
