An Evening of Poetry and Music

Peter Finch is a poet, critic, author and literary entrepreneur living in Cardiff,Wales. He is Chief Executive of Academi, theWelsh National Literature Promotion Agency and Society ofWriters. As a writer he works in both traditional and experimental forms. He is best known for his declamatory poetry readings, his creative work based on his native city of Cardiff, his series of books on Wales, and his knowledge of the UK poetry publishing scene

PatrickMcGuinness was born in 1968 in Tunisia. In 1998 he won an Eric Gregory Award for poetry from the Society of Authors and in 2001 he won the Levinson prize from the Poetry Foundation and Poetrymagazine. His poems, translations, essays and reviews have appeared in the London Review of Books, the Times Literary Supplement, The Independent, PN Review, PoetryWales, Leviathan, and NewWriting 10. He is a fellow of St Anne’s College, University of Oxford, where he lectures in French. He lives in Caernarfon, NorthWales.

Renowned for his mature, melodic sound and elegant, lyrical style of writing and playing, guitarist Garrison Fewell has established himself as a distinctive voice throughout his 30-year career.
