Lustre glazes are among the most difficult to produce in all ceramics but the gleaming metallic sheen on the ceramic surface is always beguiling. For over thirty years Sutton Taylor has pursued this elusive art producing richly coloured bowls and vases to delight the eye and entice the collector.
Mae sgleiniau gloyw ymysg y rhaimwyaf anodd i gynhyrchu ymmaes serameg ond mae’r sgleinmetalaidd disglair ar yr wyneb serameg bob tro yn ddengar. Ers dros 30 mlyneddmae Sutton Taylor wedi datblygu’r dull arbennig hwn i gynhyrchu powlenni a fasysmewn lliwiau cyfoethog sy’n plesio’r llygad ac yn denu’r casglwr.
