Comedy - Comedi
Reginald D Hunter
Reginald D Hunter's uniquely non-secular approach to comedy continues to batter down the time-honoured constraints of politics, religion and so-called morality. This is comedy that doesn't form alliances or make easy choices by playing to our comfort zones. It is comedy that attempts to make us see ourselves for what we are, without judgement.
A regular performer at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe since 2002, Reginald's career has led to him being invited to perform in venues the world over in places such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and South Africa. He is one of the few performers to have been nominated for the Perrier Award in three consecutive years and has become a regular face at the Sydney Comedy Festival and Melbourne Comedy Festival. He is also a well-known face on primetime television shows such as 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and QI and is a frequent guest on Have I Got News For You. He has recently appeared in Argumental for Dave Channel and Would I Lie To You for BBC1. He has also just finished starring alongside Andy Hamilton in BBC4's It's Only A Theory.
Yn berfformiwr rheolaidd yng Ngwyl Ymylol Caeredin ers 2002, mae Reginald wedi cael ei wahodd i berfformio mewn canolfannau ledled y byd mewn llefydd fel Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand a De Affrica. Ef yw un o'r ychydig berfformwyr i gael ei enwebu ar gyfer y Wobr Perrier am dair blynedd yn olynol ac mae'n ymddangos yn rheolaidd yng Ngwyl Gomedi Sydney a Gwyl Gomedi Melbourne. Mae ei wyneb yn gyfarwydd hefyd ar sioeau teledu poblogaidd megis 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Never Mind The Buzzcocks a QI ac ymddengys yn rheolaidd ar Have I Got News For You. Ymddangosodd yn ddiweddar yn Argumental ar gyfer Sianel Dave a Would I Lie To You ar gyfer BBC1. Bu hefyd yn ymddangos ochr yn ochr ag Andy Hamilton yn It's Only A Theory ar BBC 4.
