Florian Kitt (cello) and Rita Medimorec (piano)
This well-known Austrian cello and piano duo have played together all over the world and have had many pieces written specially for them. This recital will include one such piece, written by Anthony Payne, the composer who completed Elgar’s unfinished third symphony. The concert will also include works by Schumann, Chopin and Liszt, along with Prokofiev’s cello sonata.
All concerts are free to Music Club members and to students and school children. Full price membership costs £40 for the season of six concerts, £35 for concessions. Tickets for individual concerts cost £10 (£8 concessions). Membership and individual concert tickets can be purchased from the Arts Centre Box Office
