Sidney Lumet directs Philip Seymour Hoffman in this bristling psychological tale of two brothers who rob their parent`s jewelry store. Yet when it goes wrong and their mother is shot, it sets off a shattering chain of events. Atmospheric, brilliantly plotted and featuring superb performances from everyone, this is very highly recommended.
