A brand new, dazzling homage to the silent era in this Oscar-tipped drama following the career of a charismatic silent star who finds himself out of work during the onset of the "talkies". A masterful achievement (shot silently!) that fully embraces the nostalgia of the times: it even comes complete with printed intertitles and a breathless musical score. Unmissable.
