Ceramics Gallery Oriel Gerameg

The Ceramics Gallery on the ground floor houses a prestigious, permanent collection, including work by Leach, Hamada, Cardew and other pioneers of studio pottery, along with traditional and contemporary ceramics. The collection is constantly being expanded with work by British and international makers and is now recognised as one of the most important in the UK. The gallery also features the work of invited artists. (Simon Carroll: Making Connections in summer 2004). Mae'r Oriel Serameg ar y llawr isaf yn arddangos casgliad parhaol o safon uchel gan gynnwys gwaith gan Leach, Hamada, Cardew ac arloeswyr eraill ym maes crochenwaith stiwdio, ynghyd â serameg traddodiadol a chyfoes. Ychwanegir at y casgliad yn gyson gyda gwaith gan wneuthurwyr Prydeinig a rhyngwladol ac fe gydnabyddir y casgliad bellach fel un o'r pwysicaf yn y Deyrnas Unedig. Mae'r oriel hefyd yn arddangos gwaith artistiaid gwadd er enghraifft Simon Carroll gyda ‘Making Connections’ yn ystod yr haf 2004.
