Company: Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru and Teatr Piba in partnership with Aberystwyth Arts Centre
Mair is called home to a funeral, and feelings of guilt and responsibility are brought to the surface. She starts to question her values and the happiness she thought she had found in Brittany with her partner Loeiza. All of a sudden, she has never felt so far from West Wales.
But can a friendly neighbour, who brings a strange gift to her door, calm her troubled mind?
A new, contemporary and multilingual play (Welsh/Breton/French) that explores the close relationship between Wales and Brittany, the eternal dilemma of the immigrant, and some of the issues facing young people today in rural communities across Europe.
The play is performed in Welsh, Breton and French, with a translation available in all three languages - as well as in English - via Sibrwd. Please download the Sibrwd app before arriving at the theatre; it’s free to download from iTunes and Google Play. Devices with the Sibrwd app will also be available to loan.
