Aberystwyth Arts Centre is sited at the heart of the University's Penglais Campus, which overlooks the town of Aberystwyth, and which is situated on the A487 heading north out of the town on Penglais Hill.

03 Bus Service
A new bus service linking the town, the University and the National Library will be launched on Thursday 13 September 2012. As well as town, the bus will call at the National Library, the University Sports Centre and the Arts Centre via a new link road between the Library and the University. The new 03 Mid Wales Travel service will circulate between the town and the Penglais campus every 20 minutes between 07.40 and 19.40, Monday to Friday during term-time. The evening service between 20.20 and 22.20 will be hourly with the last bus leaving the Arts Centre at 22.33.
On weekends and out of term, the service will be hourly between 7.45 and 22.45.

The nearest train station is in Aberystwyth, adjacent to the main bus and coach terminals, which run regular services to the University campus. The central taxi rank is also situated next to the train station in Aberystwyth, and the Arts Centre is approximately a one mile journey away.
The Arts Centre is situated at the heart of the Aberystwyth University campus. The turning onto campus is from the A487 as you head north out of the main Aberystwyth town centre in the direction of Machynlleth, and is well signposted. There are large car parks adjacent to the Arts Centre and on campus which are free for customers in the evening after 5pm and at weekends. Please note that if you are visiting the Arts Centre during the daytime you should follow the signs to the Visitors Car Park, for which there is a small charge.
The journey from Aberystwyth town centre can be walked in about 20 minutes, but please bear in mind that Penglais Hill is quite a steep climb!
