Jason Ohler

Jason Ohler is an inspirational speaker. A Professor of Educational Technology and Distance Learning   at   the University of Alaska, he has spent the last twenty years working with young people, students, educators, parents, government officials, policy makers and community leaders on integrating technology with a sense of fun and purpose.

Mae'n Athro Technoleg Addysgiadol a Dysgu o Bell ym Mhrifysgol Alasga, a threuliodd yr ugain mlynedd diwethaf yn gweithio gyda phobl ifanc, myfyrwyr, addysgwyr, rhieni, swyddogion o'r llywodraeth, gwneuthurwyr polisi ac arweinyddion cymunedol ar integreiddio technoleg mewn modd hwyliog a phwrpasol.

 

Gilly Adams

Gilly Adams is a free lance director, workshop leader and editor who specialises in working with writers. She was a member of BBC Wales' digital storytelling team, Capture Wales, from the very beginning and pioneered their story circle methods. Whilst at the BBC she also produced radio plays and was the Director of the Writers' Unit. In an earlier life she was Artistic Director of the new writing company Made in Wales for more than a decade. She was also an artistic associate of the celebratory arts company Welfare State International for many years.

 

Mae Gilly Adams yn gyfarwyddwraig, arweinydd gweithdy a golygydd yn gweithio ar ei liwt ei hun sy'n arbenigo mewn gweithio gydag ysgrifenwyr. ‘Roedd hi'n aelod o dîm adrodd straeon digidol BBC Cymru sef Capture Wales , o'r dechrau cyntaf ac arloesodd y dulliau stori gylch. Tra efo'r BBC bu hefyd yn cynhyrchu dramâu radio ac ‘roedd yn Gyfarwyddwraig Uned yr Ysgrifenwyr. Mewn bywyd cynharach bu'n Gyfarwyddwraig Artistig y cwmni ysgrifennu newydd sef Made in Wales am dros ddegawd. Bu hefyd yn aelod cyswllt artistig o'r cwmni celf blaenllaw Welfare State International am flynyddoedd lawer.

Hanne Jones & Eli Lea

Hanne Jones and Eli Lea work for the Digitale Fortellinger project in Bergen Norway. The project was set up by Flimmer Film in 2004 and has organized digital storytelling workshops throughout Norway working with a wide range of groups and age ranges. Hanne was born in Norway with a British father and spent five years in Cardiff where she worked and studied at Cardiff University and first came into contact with digital storytelling.

Mae Hanne Jones ac Eli Lea yn gweithio gyda phrosiect Digitale Fortellinger yn Bergen, Norwy. Sefydlwyd y prosiect gan Flimmer Film yn 2004 a bu'n trefnu gweithdai adrodd straeon digidol ledled Norwy gan weithio gydag amrywiaeth eang o grwpiau ac ystod oedran. Ganwyd Hanne yn Norwy gyda'i thad yn Brydeinwr a threuliodd bym mlynedd yng Nghaerdydd lle bu'n gweithio ac yn astudio ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd lle y daeth i glywed am adrodd straeon digidol am y tro cyntaf.

Huw Davies - MC, Open Mic  Thurs evening

Huw Davies was born and bred in a mining community in South Wales and now lives with his wife, daughter and lurcher in North Wales.

He likes Wales. Especially when it rains. 

Started on the BBC Capture Wales Project in 2001 and shadowed Daniel Meadows for the next few years which was no mean feat as there's a serious height difference. Prior to that he worked in Community Arts for 12 years and exhibited his own art widely, and before that?   Well; bit o this bit o that.  He's been busy; and can honestly say he's never been bored once in his life. Well there was that time when...........and.................

 

Pat Kane, 44, is a musician, writer, theorist and father. He is the author of The Play Ethic: A Manifesto for a Different Way of Living (Macmillan, 2004, www.theplayethic.com ). Pat is also one half of Hue and Cry ( www.hueandcry.co.uk ), whose new album Open Soul will be released later this year. He is a blogger for the Guardian's Comment is Free page, a lead reviewer for the Independent's books page, and contributes regularly to Scottish and UK media. Pat has consulted and lectured on the power and nature of play to organizations as diverse as Lego, The Cabinet Office, The Scottish Government, Nokia, Bartle Bogle Hegarty and Toy Industries of Europe.
